Out and about in Des Moines! We spent time walking the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge and stopped by the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. A perfect mix of fresh air, movement, and beautiful scenery. 🌦️🌺👟

Jodi guessed the exact number of candies (136) in the jar at our table during the Polk County Senior Services Vendor Fair this past Friday and won an awesome prize! 🍬

We had an amazing time connecting with our wonderful seniors, their families, and all the vendors who came out to the event.

We want to thank the organizers for putting this together and creating a space where our community can learn more about the care and support available to their loved ones.

We had the privilege of touring the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum, where exhibits honor Iowa’s service members and share their stories from Iowa’s earliest history to the present day.

We even got to watch muralist and fine artist John Neal at work. His pieces are woven throughout the museum and bring those stories to life in a truly meaningful way.

To wrap up our visit, we stepped into the aviation simulator and tried to navigate a flight over Des Moines.

Thank you to our tour guides for sharing their time, knowledge, and passion with us.

A refreshing afternoon surrounded by nature. 🌿
Our group recently spent time exploring the beautiful Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. It was so nice to step inside, enjoy the warmth and greenery, and take in all the different plants and displays.
One fun surprise was spotting some new additions since our last visit, including the train stations woven into the displays. It made the experience even more enjoyable and gave everyone something new to discover!
