Last week, the 2025 Decker-Temple Leadership Pharmacy Conference engaged twenty new practitioner pharmacists from Iowa and Wisconsin in Galena, IL. 🌳 Elected officers of IPA and PSW along with expert speakers shared their knowledge and experiences with the group, helping this year’s class develop their leadership skills and enhance their impact on the profession.

Congratulations to our defending champion, Hannah McMurrin, who logged over 22,000 steps on Saturday to support the IPA Foundation! 🏆👟

Hannah is a 2027 PharmD candidate at the University of Iowa—and she beat her 2024 score by nearly 700 steps! Thank you to Hannah’s pharmacist sponsor, Jamie Pitlick.

This year’s fundraiser raised over $3,300 for student pharmacists at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
