Most people don't connect their chronic pain to their posture but the two are more linked than you'd think.

When your body is out of alignment, surrounding muscles and ligaments work overtime to compensate, and over time that strain adds up.

It can show up as neck tension, lower back pain, headaches, or that general feeling of always being tight.

Addressing it isn't just about "standing up straight" - it's about realigning your foundation through targeted adjustments and rehab that teaches your body how to hold itself properly long-term. 🏛️🧍

Muscle memory isn't just for athletes. Your body is constantly learning and adapting to the way you move, sit, and compensate for pain.

Over time, those dysfunctional patterns get wired in just as deeply as any athletic skill. That's why rehab isn't just about strengthening weak muscles. It's about retraining your nervous system to move the way it was meant to.

With the right exercises and enough consistency, you can interrupt those ingrained patterns and replace them with ones that actually support your body long term. 🧠💪

Joint instability isn't always visible but your body feels it.

Whether it shows up as weakness, that "giving way" sensation, or recurring pain, the root cause is often a lack of neuromuscular control.

The fix isn't always more strength - it's training your body to move with more intention. Slow, deliberate patterns combined with core work builds the kind of resilience that actually sticks. 🧠🔧

I’m going to be real. I am not the person who leaves reviews. I’m usually the person who reads them, nods silently, and moves on with my life. But after my visit with Nick yesterday, I felt like I owed it to the universe (and my lungs) to put this in writing.I walked into Myers Chiropractic feeling like a rusty folding chair that had been left out in the rain. I had a spot in my back that was so locked up it was actually gatekeeping my oxygen I couldn't take a full breath, and my range of motion was basically that of a Lego man.Nick did a quick adjustment, and the transition has been a total "Before and After" montage. It’s been 24 hours and the difference is absolute black and white. I’ve gone from manual breathing and moving like a LEGO person to feeling incredible. If you’re on the fence about chiropractic care or just need someone to unlock your spine so you can remember what air tastes like, go see Nick. He’s a wizard, and my back has officially retired from its shortlived career as a structural bottleneck. For those that are skeptical about chiropractic care, give Nick a shot, His adjustments as well as his review of your x-rays will give you peace of mind.

Chiropractic care for hypermobility isn't one-size-fits-all — and it shouldn't be.

When joints are already moving beyond their normal range, the last thing you need is aggressive manipulation or rapid force. The goal shifts from mobilizing to stabilizing.

That means gentle, controlled adjustments that work with your body's limits, paired with targeted rehab to build strength around unstable joints.

If you've tried chiropractic before and it didn't feel right, it might just be that the approach wasn't built for you. 🧠🔧🔄🧘‍♀️

The Gonstead Method isn't just another chiropractic technique. It's one of the most thorough and specific approaches out there.

Instead of adjusting broadly, it uses five key assessment tools: visualization, instrumentation, static palpation, motion palpation, and X-ray analysis.

Together, they give a precise picture of what's actually going on in your spine, right down to nerve involvement and structural shifts.

That level of detail means every adjustment has a clear reason behind it. No guesswork, no generalization.

Just targeted care based on what your body is actually telling us. 🔬🧠

Your wrists take more stress than you think, especially with how much we type, scroll, and grip every day.

The good news? A few targeted exercises can make a real difference.

Banded extensions, wrist circles, and a simple prayer stretch are great places to start.

And if pain keeps coming back, that's your sign to see a practitioner. 💪🖐️
