Our Cedar Rapids staff and members kicked off the summer season the best way we know how—gathering together for a fantastic Memorial Day weekend cookout! 🍔🌭
From sizzling grills to great conversations, it was the perfect opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy some well-deserved downtime. Laughter filled the air as everyone shared delicious food, made new memories, and celebrated the spirit of community that makes our Cedar Rapids location so special.

Crest Services’ Executive Director Charles Hoffman spent a meaningful day in our Cedar Rapids community, connecting with our dedicated staff and the incredible members we serve. The visit wrapped up with an ice cream social — a simple, sweet reminder of the relationships that make our mission thrive.

Cedar Rapids isn’t just a great place to gather — it’s a powerhouse. The city is home to the largest grain processing center in the world, playing a major role in producing corn, oats, and soy products that reach consumers across the globe.

It’s amazing to serve a community that fuels both people and progress.

🎬✨ What a SHREK-tacular day in Cedar Rapids! ✨🎬

Our members had an ogre-the-top good time celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Shrek today! 💚 From laughter-filled movie moments to themed activities and plenty of smiles, it was a day straight out of a fairytale (with a little swampy twist, of course 😉).

Everyone enjoyed reliving their favorite scenes, quoting iconic lines, and embracing their inner ogre. We saw friendships grow, laughter echo, and lots of unforgettable memories made—just like Shrek reminds us, it’s what’s on the inside that truly counts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special. Here’s to many more fun celebrations together! 🧅✨
