🍭 Today is Tootsie Roll Day! We enjoyed learning the history of the Tootsie Roll. Fun fact, the Tootsie roll is named after the candy maker’s daughter, Tootsie! After learning, we tried our hand in making our own confection creation!

🌞 Happy National Caregiver Appreciation Day! The residents worked hard painting and assembling Sunshine Baskets for all of the staff that care for them every day! Housekeeping, Culinary, Wellness, Administration, Maintenance, Life Enrichment… all work together to bring the best care, and we appreciate everything that they do!! Thank you for shining a light in our lives every single day!

🎭💜💛💚 Laissez les bons temps rouler! 💚💛💜🎭 We brought the spirit of Mardi Gras right to our community today! We had a bead toss (shirts stayed on 😜), made delicious King Cake cookies, learned about the rich history of Mardi Gras, decorated our own colorful floats, and even hosted our very own parade! 🎉🎷 There was music, laughter, creativity, and just the right amount of sparkle. ✨ What a festive and fun-filled celebration!
