🧑‍🎓i👩‍🎓Even with all the moving parts and extra special moments celebrating the program’s 20th anniversary, Graduation is always about one thing - the graduates and honoring their two-year CollegeWorks journey! Thank you to Mohawk Valley Community College President Randall Van Wagoner for attending and joining The Arc, Oneida-Lewis CEO Karen Korotzer on stage to hand out the graduation certificates.

🎓 Hats off to the 13 students who are now stepping into the next phase of their lives. We’ll be cheering on the newest members of the CollegeWorks family every step of the way!

🌟Our graduation ceremony was filled with voices that shaped CollegeWorks from the very beginning to the bright future ahead.

Keynote Speaker, Deb McGrath, whose idea started it all, and Arc New York CEO Erik Geizer reminded us why CollegeWorks matters.

Ka Tee Zar (Class of 2025) and Sajra Prosic (’18) each brought the crowd to its feet with speeches that captured the heart of what this program is all about.

Having some of our alums return for the 20th anniversary to hear it all was priceless.

🎊 You can’t call them freshmen anymore! The new seniors in our CollegeWorks program proudly celebrated their move-up ceremony as they officially enter their senior year.

A heartfelt thank you to Arc Board President Leland McCormac for his enthusiastic welcome, Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon and Assemblyman Brian Miller for again presenting the moving-up certificates, and to alumni Dustin Gonyea and his father Steve for continuing their meaningful scholarship. We also honor the legacy of Lynda Ford, whose memory lives on through the generosity of scholarship.

It's happening tonight! Our graduation ceremony twenty years in the making as we celebrate the anniversary of the first freshman class to begin this groundbreaking program.

America's greatest 15k, the Boilermaker Road Race runs on volunteers and students and staff in our program did their part and more today.

From assembling hundreds of goodie bags to tagging merch and pitching in wherever needed, this team showed what hands-on learning and community spirit are all about.

⚠️ HAPPENING NOW: CollegeWorks classes on the MVCC Campus in ROME ONLY are closed today due to an air conditioning malfunction at the college. Classes in Utica are open and running as regularly scheduled.
