Hello, Friends! Those of you who know me are familiar with my struggle with chronic Lyme disease. Thankfully, I no longer have symptoms. Looking back on my experience, I remember the absolute worst part of chronic Lyme disease was the constant pain. It was exhausting and demoralizing. It interfered with my badly needed sleep and contributed to depression. I'm the type of person who avoids medication, but I had to take ibuprofen frequently just to function. I had tried every natural pain remedy I could find: herbs, chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage. These all helped me feel more centered and balanced, but they did not address the pain and inflammation noticeably.
When I started seeing clients with Lyme disease in my holistic practice, I needed a way to help them with pain management while they were fighting the infection. Many of my clients were concerned about taking pain medications long-term, and wanted a natural method. Since I had been through it myself, I could empathize.
I have been practicing lymphatic massage for 16 years on clients with chronic pain syndromes with good results.
