Some days I feel like dropping everything, and searching the ends of the earth for something that can fill this void inside I have from this loss. If you are the caretaker of the cremated remains of a loved one, remember direct sunlight can damage wood and metal. If you select either material, place the urn on a shelf away from a window. You can illuminate it with a ceiling light, but don’t shine the light directly onto it whenever possible. Finding hope in despair is such an amazing gift to have. Perhaps a friend comes to mind who seems to always give you hope and positivity, or you feel that you yourself have this gift. Maybe you find hope through religion, a belief in a higher being. It's possible something as simple as a grandchild's smile gives you hope for the future.
