Our hearts are full after yesterday’s Hope In A Bowl Of Soup event! πŸ₯£ To everyone who came out β€” whether you shared a meal, lent a hand, or simply connected with others, THANK YOU for making the day so meaningful.

There’s something truly special about gathering around a warm bowl of soup β€” it’s more than comfort food, it’s comfort together and knowing none of us are alone. Yesterday reminded us how beautiful community can be when we show up for one another with kindness, hope, and open hearts. A special shoutout to Beacon Center, French Creek Recovery Center and ICAN for joining us and for showcasing the incredible power behind community collaboration and support. Your presence added so much value and inspiration to the event. πŸ’«

✨ Happy Heavenly Birthday to Erin! Here’s to the power of comfort and connection β€” and to many more moments shared in good company. We will continue to honor Erin and her legacy that inspires us to keep fighting the good fight. Erin, you are forever loved and missed. ✨

β€οΈπŸŽ— Red Ribbon Week: Honoring a Legacy, Inspiring a Future πŸŽ—β€οΈ

Each year from October 23–31, communities across the nation come together for Red Ribbon Week, the largest drug prevention awareness campaign in the country.

This movement began in honor of DEA Special Agent Enrique β€œKiki” Camarena, who dedicated his life to fighting drug trafficking. In 1985, Kiki was tragically kidnapped and killed while on assignment in Mexico. His sacrifice sparked a national movementβ€”where wearing a red ribbon became a powerful symbol of living drug-free. Today, more than 80 million people participate annually, promoting health, wellness, and a commitment to a drug-free lifestyle.

At Center for Family Life & Recovery, we proudly support this mission by inspiring hope, providing help, and transforming lives. 🌟

One of the most powerful things you can do is start an open conversation with your kidsβ€”at home, at school, and in your community. Dialogue saves lives. πŸ’¬πŸ’œ
