"City boy gone country!” That’s how James describes his move from NYC to Poughkeepsie- a move that’s opened new doors, thanks to his family, and Care Manager, Barbara.

James now spends his days creating art, visiting the farm with his Day Program, and dreaming big.

On December 3rd, we celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and we are honored to highlight Andy, a dedicated LIFEPlan CCO member who shows us what inclusion and independence really look like. With support from his care manager Megan and loving mom Christine, Andy turned volunteer opportunities into meaningful work. Now he spends his days giving back at The Carlucci Senior Living Community- preparing meals and caring for seniors. His story reminds us that a disability is not a limitation- it’s a different path, full of possibility.
