🎨 Sunshine, smiles, and so much color!

Our Junior and Senior Einsteins took their creativity outdoors for Messy Paint Day—and what a masterpiece it was! The Junior Einsteins dove into finger painting while our Seniors experimented with “paint pops,” exploring texture, motion, and color in fun, sensory-rich ways.

More than just a good time, these messy masterpieces help develop fine and gross motor skills, sensory awareness, and creative confidence. At MCC, play has purpose—and every splatter tells a story of discovery.

🎉 Jessie turned 101 last weekend—and did so with all the grace, joy, and positivity that defines her every day.

Known for her vibrant spirit and uplifting demeanor, Jessie embraces each year with pride and gratitude. When asked about her secret, she simply said she’s been “blessed with good health and sunshine—what more could you ask for?”

To make her day even brighter, her son surprised her by taking her out to celebrate. At 101, Jessie continues to show us what it means to age with confidence and joy.

We’re honored to be part of her journey, and grateful for the light she brings to our community.

We recently received a message that stopped us in our tracks:

🏐 Laughter echoed through the halls as residents and staff went head-to-head in a friendly—and fiercely fun—volleyball game!

Residents were paired up with team members for an afternoon of action, connection, and community spirit. While Margaret and Alyson took home the title of champions, it was Louise who stole the show with her unstoppable serving streak—6 points in a row!

More than just a game, this event was a powerful reminder of the joy and meaning that shared experiences can bring. It’s about more than staying active—it’s about staying connected.

Moments like these strengthen the bonds between the people who call MCC home and those who care for them each day. 🤝💛

👟 Wellness that works—for everyone.

This past weekend, MCC employees showed up and showed out for the annual Boilermaker Walk, 5K, and 15K, proudly representing our organization in matching shirts and high spirits. Whether walking, jogging, or racing to the finish, each step brought attention to something bigger: a shared commitment to personal well-being and our collective mission of care.

At MCC, we believe wellness should be as diverse as the people who power our work. That’s why we’re so proud of this group for showing what it means to lead by example—and to do it with heart.
