Triple P - Solano County Triple P stands for "Positive Parenting Program." And the best part is, it works!

It is a research-based parenting program that has benefited tens of thousands of parents worldwide, for more than 30 years. Through our Positive Parenting Program, we offer free groups at a variety of locations throughout San Joaquin County. In these groups, families can gain skills and knowledge to reduce stress and better manage difficult behavior. For parents with teens
Positive parenting is an effective approach to raising teenagers The challenge is to provide a home environment that guides and supports teens as they strive to become independent, well-adjusted young adults. This means finding ways to deal with conflict that may occur when the views of parent and teen differ The effort required, though sometimes difficult, can lead to a closer more rewarding relationship between teen and parent. Strategies will be shared and ideas discussed.

The Triple P-Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) aims to help make the task of parenting easier and more rewarding. Co-Parenting group offers suggestions and Ideas on positive parenting to help promote your child’s development, look after yourself as a parent and manage the stresses and demands of co-parenting. This group is appropriate to attend alone or with those who are also parenting your child.

Our Story

The Triple P - Positive Parenting Program is an evidence based program taught in more than 25 countries and in 21 different languages. The program has proven to be effective regardless of a family’s culture or situation. Triple P doesn’t tell adults how to parent. Rather, it introduces simple and practical strategies parents can adopt to suit their own values, beliefs and needs.
