-OR RNs, $10k Sign On Bonus plus up to $7k relocation
-OR Techs $7k Sign On Bonus plus up to $5k relocation

Surgical Technicians work alongside the rest of the surgical team throughout various procedures. Prior to surgery, the OR Technician will prepare the OR by ensuring all necessary equipment is disinfected, assembled, and in working order; and the patient by cleaning, shaving, and disinfecting the area to be operated on. During surgery, you will pass sterile surgical equipment to the surgeon, cut sutures, operate lights, and help dress the patient's wounds. You will also monitor the patient's vitals and observe their status. The Surgical Tech at Vail Health operates under the supervision of an RN.

At Vail Valley Surgery Center, an OR Nurse may potentially take on the duties involved with Circulating or Scrubbing and will need to maintain continuous nursing vigilance throughout the procedure. As an Operating Room RN, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology alongside world-class orthopedic surgeons and a dedicated team of surgical nurses in state-of-the-art facilities. Many of the RNs at VVSC are able to both scrub and circulate; we offer scrub training to qualified candidates.
