Senior angler Rayne Melton has been in love with fishing since he was a young child. As a 6th grader he was able to compete on the Trion High School Bass Fishing Team. From finishing 6th in the NWGHSAA Angler of the Year standings as a 7th grader to winning multiple state qualifiers, his dedication has set him apart. In his last year of fishing for his high school team, he is poised to set even more records, having already achieved the 2020 Angler of the Year title, two 1st place finishes at the GHSA State Qualifiers, and a national qualification at Lake Guntersville.
