Say hello to Dr. Carly — one of the trusted pediatric dentists caring for smiles at Southland Children’s Dentistry!

Fun Facts About Dr. Carly:

🦷 She grew up in an Air Force family as the daughter of a pilot, an experience that shaped her strong sense of discipline, service, and community.

🦷 Dr. Carly is a Valdosta native, a Lowndes High School graduate, and proudly calls South Georgia home.

🦷 She completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Florida and opened her first pediatric dental practice right here in Valdosta in 2001 — serving families across South Georgia for more than two decades.

🦷 Outside the office, she enjoys exercising, reading, listening to audiobooks, traveling, and spending time at home with her husband James and their four children — especially during the holidays.

Dr. Carly’s heart for children, families, and our community shines through in every visit, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of the Southland team.

Say hello to Dr. Sydney — one of our amazing pediatric dentists here at Southland Children’s Dentistry!

✨ Fun Facts About Dr. Sydney:

🦷 She was born and raised in Leesburg and is thrilled to be practicing back in her hometown!

🦷 Dr. Sydney earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia in 2021 and went on to complete a 2-year pediatric residency where she trained to care for kids and children with special needs, including time at The Children’s Hospital of Augusta.

🦷 Married to Dr. Rick McNeely from Swainsboro, GA who also graduated from the Dental College of Georgia. They actually met while on a dental mission trip in Haiti while in dental school.

🦷 When she’s not helping little smiles feel confident, you’ll find her enjoying time with her sons Murdock and Townes, reading a good book, or unwinding at the lake.

Dr. Sydney brings kindness, patience, and amazing expertise to every appointment — we’re so grateful to have her caring for Southland smiles!
