“The number one cause of death in America, including Georgia, for people 18 – 45 is overdose. The good news is that ‘Recovery is Real’. There are over 900,000 people in communities across Georgia in recovery from addiction. The Georgia Recovers Bus Tour will bring the hope and joy of recovery to families across Georgia as it saves lives, restores families, and strengthens communities,” said Jeff Breedlove, Strategic Policy Advisor, The Georgia Council for Recovery.

🚍 The Georgia Council 4 Recovery is rolling through towns across the state this September with its Recovery Bus Tour!

It’s all about uplifting peer stories, empowering families, and uniting allies to shine a light on recovery. With 75 stops across Georgia, the message is clear: Recovery is Real—and it’s found in community!

The Bus stops in Valdosta on September 25th from 6 PM – 8 PM at Unity Park (301 E. Central Ave, Valdosta 31601). Come see us there!

Meet Redirect Counselor, Kyle McDonald!

Kyle is a nationally certified addictions counselor, and has been working in the counseling field for 15+ years. He has extensive training in the areas of Substance Abuse, Shoplifting Intervention, and Anger Management Counseling. He specializes in, and most enjoys, Group Facilitation. He is also a DDS certified Defensive Driving instructor.
