VFL is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) veterans’ organization headquartered in Valdosta, Georgia, incorporated in 2017. After completing their military service, two pastors, Bryan and Reg, kept coming to the same inescapable conclusion, that our veterans deserved more, they deserved to feel the light. In early 2017, VFL focused on building a lead team of some of the best experts on care who also had a passion for our Veterans. Through the vision of the co-founders and our Veteran experts from the base leadership at Moody AFB, Valdosta State University, RISE, CrossPointe Church, South Georgia Medical Center, Greenleaf Behavioral Health Hospital and Behavioral Services of South Georgia, guided the initial development of the VFL mission, vision, and objectives.

VFL, is a place to help wounded warriors stand courageously and firm in their Relationships, Lives, Community and their Faith. Our Veterans Community provides a safe and confidential place for Veteran fellowship. Objectives
​
Develop an awareness of military culture and family dynamics within our community. Develop effective strategies to combat post-deployment transition including the effects of trauma. Integrate the newly arising focus on the aspects of Spiritual Recovery. Provide opportunities for Recovery from Moral Injury. Give the Veteran Hope and a new sense of purpose. Assist them with the VA system. Provide help with Job Placement, via Dept. of Labor and local businesses. Provide housing assistance and modification for qualified veterans. Provide Job training skills such as resume writing, tutoring and interview skills. Provide a confidential place for Veterans to be themselves and find the support of other veterans.
