Traumatic injuries are horrible. It takes a second to change your life and put you on a healing journey that can take years. This client was finished with his surgery, physical therapy, and discharged from his wound service. He had pain, inability to place his foot completely flat of the floor, difficulty with walking, tendon contractures, swelling, a cold foot, and scars keeping him from living his best life. Look at the changes that are being made in such a short time! This is the fifth session on the scar journey with this client's foot. The client reports decreased pain, their foot can fit in their shoes better, and their body feels better because they can walk with a more fluid pattern. The natural color is returning due to improved blood flow, and the tendons are lengthening which is decreasing pain from the foot to the back.
