Raising a family in Alberta Canada in the mid 1900's relied on much more than merely having a pioneering spirit. Clara Smith, a resourceful prairie woman took a barren plot of land each spring, and nursed it into a bountiful harvest of fresh vegetables for tasty home cooked meals for her five kids and husband Lloyd. She turned apples and berries into jams and jellies and with a bit of flour, and a little of this and that, filled her home with the aromas of fresh baked bread, buns and pastries. When grandkids started filling the kitchen, they all got to enjoy the same delicious experience. Clara's Daughter Beverley started making the Granola in small batches for friends and relatives, and word of its great taste and its healthy fresh ingredients quickly spread. Clara's All Natural Granola is proud to now offer a little taste of Canadian hospitality made from 2 generations of wholesome Canadian goodness.
