Employee Spotlight: Roni Sue ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Roni has received her BSN from Carlow University and her MSN from Laroche University. She has 23 years of experience in the hospital setting and administration, serving as Director of Nursing and Chief Nurse Executive. For the past seven years she has been in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living serving as Director of Nursing. Roni is also a Certified Medication Administration Trainer and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Roni looks forward to bringing fresh energy and compassion to her team. She looks at every day and every interaction as an opportunity to improve the Clinical Success of the St. Barnabas team. 💛💛

Roni and her husband live in Bellevue, PA and have been together for 38 years. In their free time they enjoy boating and car cruising.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Shala 🌟

Since joining St. Barnabas in August 2020 as a PCA, this team member has continued to grow and make an impact. In 2022, she transitioned into an administrative role and now serves as Office Coordinator.

While her responsibilities have changed, her passion for the work remains the same—supporting residents and staff. Having experience both on the floor and in the office gives her a well-rounded perspective and a deep appreciation for the dedication it takes in every role.

With over 10 years of experience in this field, she has learned the importance of patience, compassion, and the powerful impact that even a simple smile can have. She takes pride in building meaningful relationships with residents and their families and feels grateful to work alongside some of the strongest people she knows.

As she says, “Growth feels different when you grow with purpose.”

Outside of work, she’s a proud mom to three daughters (14, 12, and 4) and enjoys cooking new recipes, spending time outdoors, drawing, and making memories with her family. 💙

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Ron 🌟

Ron has been a dedicated LPN since 1999, and his favorite part of the job is getting to interact with his patients and build meaningful connections every day.

One of the things Ron appreciates most about working here is the teamwork. He values being part of a team where everyone works well together and supports one another to provide the best care possible.

Ron is also currently back in school working toward his RN degree, something he’s very proud of as he continues to grow in his career.

Outside of work, Ron enjoys painting and drawing, hiking, and practicing yoga.
Fun fact: Ron grew up in a haunted house—a true story! 👻
