Mother’s Day holds different meanings for each of us. This weekend, we honor:

💖 Mothers in the thick of it – juggling the joys and challenges of raising the next generation.

💐 Bonus mothers, stepmoms, and foster moms – who choose love every day, building families through connection and care.

🕊️ Mothers who have experienced loss – carrying the memories of little ones forever in their hearts.

💫 Women facing infertility – whose hearts overflow with love, even as they navigate this difficult journey.

🌱 Those who long to become mothers – holding hope close, even in the waiting.

🫂 Those with complicated family dynamics – whose relationships are layered and sometimes challenging, yet deeply meaningful.

🪻 Those remembering mothers who have passed – holding onto legacies of love, strength, and guidance.

🌺 Those who nurture without the title – aunts, grandmothers, mentors, and friends who pour love into their communities.

💜 Those who are parenting alone – showing remarkable strength and resilience every single day.

💖 Every mother, in every form – seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Today, we celebrate all of you – the beautiful, complex, fierce, and compassionate hearts who mother in countless ways.

Happy Mother’s Day.

May 5 - 11, 2025 is identified as Maternal Mental Health (MMH) Awareness Week, which aims to be an opportunity for people with lived experience, advocates, medical and mental health providers, families, and communities to raise their voices about the impact of Maternal Mental Heath conditions and the importance of their intentional and compassionate care.

This compassionate care is important, as Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) are the #1 medical issues impacting birthing people, with 1 in 5 pregnant people experiencing PMAD symptoms.

Normalizing these discussions can raise awareness and reduce mental health stigma. This year's theme for MMH Week is: "Storytelling Saves Lives". Free others by courageously sharing your story.
