I’m so excited to offer this semester with you…it is…

‘How to become a ‘Successful Integrative Healer’

What will be taught?

The Doctors Rhinehart will teach a natural approach to medicine and healing. They have taken the best healing techniques from around the world as well as their own discoveries and developed the INSTITUTE FOR HOLISTIC MEDICINE.

As a parallel to drug-oriented medicine, the INSTITUTE FOR HOLISTIC MEDICINE teaches that cures come from within. Drug oriented medicine suppresses symptoms, leaving the cause of the problem untreated. In many cases, the cause may be left to fester and give rise to potentially deleterious side effects.

At the INSTITUTE FOR HOLISTIC MEDICINE, students are taught proven natural healing techniques and advanced healing technology. These techniques provide healing to the pain or illness, while removing the cause of the problem. This approach is proven effective and safe as it is a natural recovery system.

In this semester you will learn how to:

· Heal the body holistically, without drugs or surgery
· Work on yourself and work to heal your body ‘naturally’

Holistic Kinesiology Tendonitis Treatment Protocol

Tendonitis is a condition of tendon inflammation resulting from acute injury, overuse, or nutritional or emotional inflammatory cause. Tendons, which attach muscles to bones, do not receive the same amount of oxygen and blood that muscles do; therefore, they heal slower than other types of tissues when they are injured. The toughest cares are tendon damage closest to the bone. The

Tendonitis treatment protocol helps heal even the toughest cases by increasing local blood flow, healing rate and lymphatic circulation as well as providing healing nutrients to the area.

Inflammation Stage:
Inflammation stage is characterized by no apparent scar tissue or calcification formations. If the onset of pain and inflammation is within 3 months, inflammation stage treatment is recommended.

Treatment:
a. Dr. Rhinehart's healing sessions: 6 to 10 visits to restore healing potential, lower inflammation, increase range of motion and reduce pain and symptoms.
b. K-Laser: 6 – 10 visits to enhance cellular repair signal.

Supplements/Remedies:
a. Kapparest (herbal anti-inflammatory) 2 / 3 x day
b. Bromelain plus CLA or Intenzyme Forte (proteolytic enzyme) 3 / 3 x day on empty stomach
c. Bio Allay (natural analgesic) 1 – 2 / 3 x day
d. Biomega 1000 (essential fatty acid) 2 / 3 x day
e. Appropriate homeopathic (Arnica, Allium Cepa, Bryonia, Rhus Tox, Ruta grav) 3 / every hour until symptoms abate then 5 x day
f. Sore to soar (essential oil for pain and inflammation) topically 3 – 5 x day over area of concern

General Support:
a. Anti-inflammatory diet
b. RICE – Rest / Ice / Elevate / Compress
1. Rest – pending the extent of injury, you client will need to rest the area of concern. Immobilize or stay off of the affected area can be helpful. As soon as possible after an injury, such as a knee or ankle sprain, you can relieve pain and swelling and promote healing and flexibility with RICE.
2. Ice – Apply an ice or cold pack right away to prevent or minimize swelling. Apply the ice or cold pack for 10 to 20 minutes, 3 or more times a day. After 48 to 72 hours, if swelling is gone, apply heat to the area that hurts. Do not apply ice or heat directly to the skin. Place a towel over the cold or heat pack before applying it to the skin.
3. Elevate - Elevate the injured or sore area on pillows while applying ice and anytime you are sitting or lying down. Try to keep the area at or above the level of your heart to help minimize swelling.
4. Compression - Compression, or wrapping the injured or sore area with an elastic bandage (such as an Ace wrap), will help decrease swelling. Don't wrap it too tightly, because this can cause more swelling below the affected area.

Bach Flower Remedies

Dr. Edward Bach developed flower essence therapy in the 1930’s with the use of English flowers. Homeopathically prepared there are 38 total remedies plus a 5 flower remedy (Rescue Remedy) he developed for emergency work. These remedies work on the vibrational level of emotions and have proven to have a profound effect on healing, on personal well-being and release of emotional conditions. Flower Essence therapies are a non-invasive, non-toxic life enhancing subtle therapies that resonates the emotion and catalysis healing. Each flower essence exudes a particular resonance that influences and awakens the human spirit as it brings high vibration light-healing energy to lower vibrational states.

When used correctly or correctly muscle tested, these vibrational essences being energetic in nature can and do create a physical and non-physical change the instant they are applied.

Because of the law of resonance, all particles which contain mass vibrate and resonates at different frequencies. All matter, every thought, every emotion and every whim also has a resonating quality. All matter, emotions and thoughts resonate at a specific frequency which attract other similar frequencies to itself. As the law of attraction states…. ‘Likes attract likes’. So if one experiences an emotional anguish, resentment or strife, then that emotion creates an attractor field to more of the same.

‘Our thoughts create our reality’.

My profession of Holistic Kinesiology uses muscle testing to determine what remedy to use, how often and for how long.
Depending on the entry point used during testing; past, present or future timelines can be addressed. In this way people are able to gain deep insight into the workings of their own psyche.

Ultimately, flower remedies influence emotional consciousness, relax the blueprint, tame the superego, balance the ego and relieve strife, unhappiness and suffering. They also subtly create a ‘honing’ of energy to heightened awareness, enhance level of consciousness and promote spiritual evolution.

When reading about the remedies be mindful that words may not satisfy an explanation of the energetic realm. In other words, just like homeopathy, when there is potential for a multitude of applications, fewer words may be better when dealing with a patient. Affirmations may be used to muscle test or for home care by the patient after it a flower remedy has been prescribed.

EMOTIONS

Websters define emotions as “a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s
circumstances, mood, or relationships with others”. As Holistic Kinesiologists, it is this state of
mind that we consider as contributing to specific and general ‘dis-ease’ and dysfunctions of
health.

The Anatomy of Emotions

According to current research, emotions are more than a ‘natural instinctive state of mind’ as
defined but are in fact emotions are physical-biochemical messengers that affect organs,
systems and zones. Emotions are in fact physical. They are biochemical complex neuropeptides
proteins secreted by the hypothalamus which correlate with any given state. When these
neuropeptides are released into the bloodstream they target, find and land on specific cellular
receptor sites. These cellular receptor sites are on the cells of organs, glands, connective tissue,
muscles, ligaments, tendons, bone, nerve, and systems. Each neuropeptide is shaped
differently and can be differentiated from one another. That is, ‘grief’ is shaped differently than
‘anger’. ‘Fear’ is shaped differently than ‘resentment’ and so on. In fact, each neuropeptide is
designed to target and land on its specific and correlative matched receptor site. The liver holds
‘frustration’ …the pancreas holds ‘low self esteem’…the kidneys hold ‘fear’ and so on. Once the
cellular receptor site has been activated by its correlative neuropeptide, that same system hold
a collective accumulation and may in fact alter its normal state of function due to the
bombardment and overwhelm. For instance, a lung that holds ‘sadness’, may in fact lower its
function and express its function with asthma. Another might be if the liver holds ‘frustration’ it
might in fact express itself as alcohol addiction.
Although Chinese philosophy has known of and recorded the existence of the mind/body
connection for centuries, it wasn’t until the 1970’s that the internationally recognized
neuroscientist and pharmacologist Dr. Candice Pert founded the discovery of neuropeptides.
She published 250 articles on this matter of which earned her a Nobel Prize in science.
Yet, today where the medical model states that ‘for every ill there is a pill’, the symptomatic
mediated health care model proves itself antiquated and doesn’t attempt to value the nature
and effect of the emotional neuropeptide component. What if the gall bladder which correlates
with the emotion ‘galled’, sickens to a state of dysfunction as a result of an excess of
neuropeptides? To the allopathic physician the emotional components either simply don’t exist
or becomes too foreboding or overwhelming of a task to care and nurture the recovery of such
an imbalance. Patients are excused as having ‘psychosomatic illnesses’ or said to ‘the disorder
is solely in the patients head’.

The Holistic Kinesiologist and Emotions

There is a saying ‘What the physic suppresses the body expresses’. This philosophy is of
paramount importance when understanding and applying the Holistic Kinesiology Healing
Format. The Holistic Kinesiologist considers that it is in fact ‘the body’ that holds the emotions.
The saying is recognized as true…’When you feel it in the pit of your stomach, that’s just where
it is…the pit of the stomach’. Only by releasing neuropeptides from the affected organs,
muscle, ligaments, tendons, connective tissue or systems can one truly free oneself from the
accumulative bombardment of emotional sickness and disease.
While balancing thoughts, reducing stress and easing the perception of drama is certainly
important to one happiness and emotional outlook, the HK understands that these modalities
are only a superimposition to a much larger picture. It is only by evaluating the whole person
(organs, muscles, ligaments, tendons, connective tissue etc.) for emotional neuropeptides can
one truly achieve emotional freedom as well as releasing clogged neuropeptide cellular
receptors that hold the foundation of ‘dis-ease’ can one be healed.

The role of the Holistic Kinesiologist

To see with ‘Eyes that truly see’ and ‘Ears that truly listen’ is the goal of the Holistic
kinesiological exam. Most often patents/clients are subjected to medical practitioners,
psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, counselors, etc.., who implore an ‘objective’ method
and questions the patient/client so as to gain insight or understanding as to the imbalance of
the mentalization disorder.
Alternatively, the Holistic Kinesiologist is unlike all other practitioners in that the HK observes a
‘subjective’ method. That is, for the first time in medical evaluation for all of medical history, by
use of kinesiology, the client’s body tells the practitioner ‘not only what is wrong’ but’ how best
to remedy it’. Only by using this method can the practitioner truly gain insight and
understanding as to the nature of the client’s emotions and feelings as well as the cause and
cure of disease.

The goal of the Holistic Kinesiologist

 Reset the neurotransmitter reflex to support the brains biochemical balance.
 Support the current emotional reflex by cleansing the mind of any current emotional
stress pattern and preexisting concerns.
 Release and heal human pain by evaluating the emotional subconscious and
determining neuropeptide accumulation in the body.
 Support a restorative outlook by offering support for limiting belief systems or
programming.

Rehydrate Intercellular Waters

At least 70% of our diets should consist of water-rich foods. A carefully hydrated body optimizes health functions such as: Heart Health / Liver Health / Brain Health / Hormone Function / Digestion / Joint Health / and Cellular Energy.

Unfortunately, our modern diets have gotten us off the right tract as the average Americans diet consists of only 15% water-rich foods.

Common Signals of Dehydration:
• Dry mouth (not thirst…thirst declines with age)
• If thirsty, it means the cells are already dehydrated
• Severe dehydration produces orange or dark color urine
• Somewhat dehydrated body produces yellow urine
• A carefully hydrated body produces colorless or straw color urine

Common Symptoms of Dehydration:
• Emotion Stress Responses (Anxiety, Overwhelm, Depression)
• Headaches - Frontal or Temporal
• Back Pain - Low Back Pain, Kidney Pain
• Allergies
• Weight Gain - Water Retention, Slow Metabolism
• Asthma - Stress induced or Exercise induced
• High Blood Pressure
• Memory Issues (Dementia, Senility, Alzheimer’s disease)

Ways to Test your Hydration:
• Turgor test – If the body is dehydrated, the skin over the back of the hand (anatomical s***f box) will stay deformed for more than 2 seconds if the skin is pinched and released. In a well hydrated body, the skin snaps back within 2 seconds.
• Urine color - If the body is dehydrated, the urine will be dark yellow, orange or dark in color. A hydrated body will have clear or straw color urine.
• Blood testing - Under the CBC section of an average blood test, common indicator of dehydration might be: RBC above 5 / Hemoglobin above 15.8 for males and 14.5 for females.

Ways to Restore Hydration:
• Room temperature or warm water is best. Cold water has a much slower uptake and according to Japanese research may have possible negative health effects in older adults.
• Each day you should drink half of your body weight in ounces per day. In other words, if you weigh 200 pounds, you should be drinking 100 ounces of water per day.
• Ideally, you should never go more than 20 minutes without sipping water.

• You should start drinking water in the morning, before you even get out of bed. This is when you are the most toxic and dehydrated.
• Eat water rich foods such as lettuce, watermelon, broccoli, carrots, beets, berries, oranges and apples.
• Hydration remedies are helpful such as Biotics Multimins / Celtic Sea Salt / Coconut water

Quality of Water
• Tap water can contain contaminates such as Fluoride and Chlorine. Although common filters remove the majority of Chlorine, Fluoride is nearly impossible to filter and remove.

• If possible, it is best to use quality waters such as local Palomar water, Sierra Springs Ramona water or Carlsbad Alkaline water.

• Many common industrial waters are acidic and contain contaminants, yet a few waters such as Fiji, LifeWTR, and Smart water are permissible and well tolerated.

• If water is questionable such as restaurant water, add lemon or lime as an aid to purify and bind toxins.

SIBO

What is SIBO?
Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a condition affecting the small intestine. It occurs when there is an increase in the bad bacterial population in the small intestine. SIBO is on the rise affecting the young and the old. This condition leads to many other health conditions but is hallmarked by symptoms of chronic bloating, abdominal distention, intestinal gas, indigestion and can effect elimination pathways creating constipation or diarrhea.

Cause of SIBO
• High carbohydrate and refined food diet
• Oral antibiotics
• Lack of digestive enzymes
• Faulty Ileocecal valve
• Hormone imbalances
• Low stomach acid/low Hcl
• Steroid medication (Prednisone/Cortisone)
• Sympathetic overload (stress)
• Birth control pills
• Acid reflux medication
• Past food poisoning

There are a few medical tests to determine if SIBO is present with the most convenient being by use of Holistic Kinesiology.

Nutritional Protocol
Staph – (Methyl producers/antibiotic resistant)
Strep – (Non-methyl producer)
a) ADP (3 tabs 3 x day)
b) Dysbiocide (2 tab 3 x day
c) IAG 1 tspn in water 3 x day
d) Bentonite Detox #16 (1 Tbsp 2 x day)

Ileocecal protocol
a. Open – Check TFL’s and Hamstrings
Check Cat II, Cranial massage, L1 / C5
1. Chlorocaps – (1 – 2 x day)
b. Closed – Check Quadraceps and Abdominal Check Cat 1, Vegas nerve
1. Calcium (2 per day) / Bio D mulsion (6 drops per day)

FODMAPS Diet
The SIBO diet is a temporary elimination diet that incorporates low-FODMAP foods to decrease bacterial overgrowth. FODMAP stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols, which are short-chain carbohydrates (sugars) that the small intestine absorbs poorly. It typically lasts 2 to 6 weeks.
For the full FODMAP diet go to:https://mysiborecipes.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/sibo_specific_diet_food_guide_sept_2014.pdf
Dr. Rhinehart recommends committing to the FODMAP diet 6 days per week taking off the 7th day to eat a small amount of sugar, wheat or refined carbohydrate to draw out the bacteria.

There is a need…

In a world whereby ‘for every ill there is a pill’ the rates of emotional disorders and mental diseases are skyrocketing. Our children today seem to bear the weight of a hyper-diagnosis culture fixated with a victimization mentality. We are plagued with a plethora of biochemical and emotional challenges that lead to an array of ominous diagnosis of which there are little cures.

Modern medicine observes these changes and branches from its traditional diagnoses such as depression, anxiety and overwhelm to a plethora of new diagnosis such as mania, bipolar, compulsive, panic, agoraphobia, post traumatic disorders, acute stress disorders, impulse control problems, schizophrenia, dysphoric, depersonalized, dissociative, psychoactive disorders, psychotic, narcissistic, sociopathic, paranoia, avoidant, processing disorders and addictive disorders to name a few.

It seems that the mental disorder label list trend expands weekly. What was once accepted by society as normal emotional variants are now sensitized to an all time high awareness level.

Unfortunately, most of these disorders and diseases are not treated well with common allopathic methods. In fact, studies show that psychoactive drugs, antidepressants, anxiety meds and barbiturates do very little for the cause of these disorders and in most cases cause a multitude of side effects that can express even worse symptomatology than the original disorder which require more and more medication. A vicious cycle trends to what end?

So what do we do? How do we help our children to rise above these forbidding and foreboding disorders unscathed? How do we help our children to overcome and thrive in a society that seems to program them to mere survival?

The answers are surprisingly simple…

The human spirit which is full of wonder and adventure innately has an uninhibited potential to be free, whole, well and balanced. In an ideal human state balance and vitality is our birthright. Who is to say that we can’t be enlightened, sentient, forgiving, kind, compassionate, loving, peaceful and joyful beings? Perhaps, without societies limiting belief systems, controlling energies, negative influences, chemical toxins and manipulating energies we could have a chance. Imagine a world without interference fields, hate, regret, guilt, shame, fear, anger or pride. As a planet could we ever display true mercy and bless all of life? What would it be like to resonate peace while displaying unconditional love to our families, our children and ourselves? What would it be like to be truly free?

This world, now more than ever, requires freedom. That’s why I feel emotional clearing work is needed more now than ever. To be free means to commit to an endeavor to release ourselves from inhibitory energies.

The role of the Holistic Kinesiologist

To see with ‘Eyes that truly see’ and ‘Ears that truly listen’ is the goal of the kinesiological exam. Most often patents/clients are subjected to a practitioner who objectively questions the patient/client so as to gain insight or understanding as to the mentalization disorder.

Unlike all other practitioners, Holistic Kinesiologist tests the client using a subjective method. That is, the client’s body tells the practitioner not only what is wrong but how best to remedy it. Only by using this method can the practitioner truly gain insight and understanding as to the nature of the client’s emotions and feelings.

The goal of the Holistic Kinesiologist

• Support the mental or emotional symptoms with proper supportive supplementation.
• Clear the current emotions with natural Bach flower remedies.
• Identify the original cause of the mental or emotional disorder and administer healing Timeline technique.
• Cleanse the mind of any current emotional stress pattern and preexisting concerns.
• Release and heal the human pain body while freeing the enlightened spirit within.
• Reset any previous negative or limiting belief systems or programming.
