TaRa institute is a non-profit educational organization devoted to the teaching and practice of meditation and its allied disciplines, as well as provide training in holistic mind-body medicine and Tibetan culture. The Tolstoy Foundation is a non-profit charitable, philanthropic organization. It was established on April 26, 1939 by Alexandra Tolstaya, youngest daughter of reknowned Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. The foundation was originally established to help Russian refugees from Europe and the Soviet Union.Thus we at Tara Institute feel deeply honored and grateful for our freindship with the Tolstoy foundation.
