🪁🌞 Happy Makar Sankranti 🌞🪁

Chautauqua celebrated Makar Sankranti, the Indian festival marking the return of the light. Kite flying symbolizes gratitude to the sun, sesame seeds represent warmth and prosperity, and sweets are shared to spread happiness. Residents enjoyed tasting tahini and honey with biscuits and took part in a fun game to see who would have extra sweetness in the coming year.
