She continued her training with an internship at King’s County Medical Center and further obtained her Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a medical professional, she attributes all of her success and achievements to her desire to take care of patients. Away from her busy schedule, Dr. Levada enjoys gardening, painting, and reading. Dr. Maria Eleni Levada is a distinguished member of the American College of Surgeons and Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Over the course of her career, she served as president of the Nassau County OBGYN Society (2001-2002) and received the Vitals’ Compassionate Doctor Award and Patients’ Choice Award in 2011.
