Today at Valley Lakes Assisted Living, we proudly honored the veterans who call our community home. We are grateful for our 9 resident veterans and 3 team members who have also served.

We held a special Presentation of the Colors with the help of the Bennington American Legion Post 266, Valley American Legion Post #58 and the Valley, Nebraska Police Department. Their presence brought meaning and gratitude to a day dedicated to service and sacrifice.

Thank you to all who have served. Your courage continues to guide us. 🇺🇸

Today, we gathered to give Erin, one our Medication Aides, well wishes as she moves on to her next chapter. While goodbyes are never easy, we are so thankful for the kindness, dedication, and compassion she’s shared with our residents, families and team members. As you can tell from these pictures, her hard work and warm spirit have touched so many lives here at Valley Lakes.

Erin, You’ll always be part of our family, and your presence will be deeply missed. Wishing you all the best in your journey ahead — may it be filled with happiness, success, and wonderful new memories. 💐🫶🏻

🎃✨ We had such a "gourd" time today! The 2nd graders from DC West stopped by to decorate pumpkins with our residents, and the smiles were as bright as the fall colors outside. 🍂🧡

Thank you to everyone (including the volunteers from St. John the Evangelist) for bringing so much creativity, laughter, and joy to our community. Our residents loved every minute of it! 🎨
