Mr. William Boyd "Plum" Bonner, a resident of Lanett, AL, died Saturday, November 8, 2025 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika, AL.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. (EST) from New Zion Baptist Church, 1516 44th Avenue SW, Lanett, AL, Rev. Willie Calvin Atkinson, Pastor/Officiating.

Interment will follow in New Zion Cemetery. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

Funerals start on time, so arriving a little early is important. Try to arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can sign the register book and be seated when the funeral starts. If you arrive late, a funeral attendant can generally show you where to be seated. To be less disruptive, try to move toward the side aisle rather than the center aisle.
