Take time to plan how you will go through your loved one’s possessions. Gather close family members and discuss which items should stay within the family and what can be donated to those in need. Consider who should be involved in the process—having two or three people can help things move smoothly while minimizing conflicts. Most importantly, don’t feel pressured to rush.
