Please be aware that Cyclorphine, a newly emerging synthetic opioid, is being reported in our communities. This substance is up to 10 times stronger than fentanyl and carries a very high risk of overdose.

What to know:

- Can be hidden in counterfeit pills
- Not detectable with standard drug tests
- Extremely high overdose risk
- May require multiple doses of Narcan to reverse an overdose (https://www.overdoselifeline.org/naloxone-indiana-distribution/)

As the summer sports and sports camps season draw near, it’s time to start thinking about scheduling your child’s sports physical.⚽

Sports physicals are typically done by your child’s pediatrician, family medicine physician or family nurse practitioner. The best time to do a sports physical is at least four to six weeks before the season begins. This allows time for follow-up care like additional health screenings, if needed.
