What an incredible day at our annual Skills Fair! With guidance from our Regional DCE, Monica Miller, our team came together to learn, grow, and support one another. We’re grateful for everyone’s dedication to making Brickyard Healthcare - Valparaiso Care Center a place of compassion and excellence. Thank you to all who joined us!

Our recent Easter Egg Hunt at Brickyard Healthcare - Valparaiso Care Center was a tremendous success. We organized four age-specific egg-hunting stations, provided music and refreshments, and hid over 1,500 eggs for participants to find. The event also featured photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, engaging game stations, and exciting giveaways including bikes, kites, scooters, and Easter baskets. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event memorable.

Brickyard Valparaiso would like to extend a big thank-you to the Dunkin’ team on Calumet Road in Valparaiso for treating our staff to fresh coffee and donuts today. Your thoughtful gesture was a wonderful surprise and brought a lot of smiles to our team.

Brickyard is excited to share that two of our care centers have been awarded the CMS Silver Quality Award, a national recognition of excellence in long-term and post-acute care!

LaShuan Bethea, executive director of NCAL said it best: . “It is challenging to get to this level, and these recipients are not just meeting standards, they are going above and beyond to improve lives."

Indiana continues to set the bar high for Skilled Nursing care with Hoosiers receiving the highest number of recipients of the Silver Quality Award across the nation!

Congratulations to our Valparaiso and Petersburg teams for this achievement, and to ALL of our centers for continuing to move the industry forward, one resident at a time.
