Our mowing crew mowed the cemetery last Friday, and as a result of the high humidity, grass clippings unfortunately clung to some memorials. Our cemetery maintenance crew cleaned up the clippings and headstones within 24 hours on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately, a family member visited right after the mowing crew went through, and posted the grass clipping images to . While we attempted to post to (https://www.facebook.com/groups/431284452452020/) to inform people about what happened in this instance, the administrators of that page are not allowing us to comment.

Graceland Cemetery takes great care in maintaining the cemetery. While there are some issues, such as road maintenance concerns, they are addressed as our budget allows. The roads have just recently been paved, for instance, although someone in the thread mentioned how bad the roads were.

If you encounter any issues with a service we provide and we are not aware of them, we cannot resolve the situation unless you contact our office and speak with our manager. Even if you have worked with one of our other staff members, the manager will not necessarily be aware of what occurred unless you inform her. If you have been having a problem for 10 years, please let us know, as we resolve issues that we have control over when we are aware of them.
