The Chicago River Swim 2 mile race ( in the Chicago River!!! 🤣 )
is a GO for six weeks from now 
September 21st sunday.
All for pioneering ALS RESEARCH at Northwestern University.
Downtown, in the river, starting near State and Dearborn Street.
BUT…..I need your help! There is so little time!!
Last year I was the top fundraiser overall and had the most number of individual donors, sooooo let’s see if this Hoosier boy can win against all those swimmers from Chicago and across the country like we did last year!

My brother was recently diagnosed with a very similar Neurodegenerative disease like ALS, so I’m even more motivated with so little time before the race.

Be a friend to your toes and not a buddy.
Is “Buddy splinting” a toe because it’s injured or broken always correct? Absolutely not.
And never buddy splint the big toe to the second toe. They have completely different biomechanical needs.
This is NOT the patient’s fault.
They were told to do this by urgent care.
ESPECIALLY, if like this person, you have diabetes and do not have proper feeling or circulation in your feet, NEVER splint toes unless you were told to do so by a podiatrist. It can cause real problems. 
(she did not even have a toe fracture)
