Tyrosinase Inhibitors… WHAT are they and WHY do you need them?

Tyrosinase Inhibitors are ingredients that suppress the overproduction of melanin (aka pigment or brown/red spots). Overproduction of melanin can be caused by intrinsic (internal) and/or extrinsic (external) factors.. acne scarring, sun exposure, hormones etc. area few factors that can cause pigmentation.
