Willow Pines Retirement Community joyfully observed Black History Month with a special event featuring resident Sammie Taylor and her friends. The celebration included a display of over 200 historical dolls. Partnering with Sandy’s Land LLC, a Detroit-based publishing and entertainment service, the event highlighted their mission to empower women and girls to embrace their natural beauty. Residents were given a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating history behind each individual doll.

As 2025 comes to a close at Willow Pines, December has been full of joy! Residents enjoyed Spirit Week dress up days, holiday home tours, concerts in and out of our theater, lively Happy Hours with dancing and singing, tree decorating, gingerbread houses, and even a festive conga line to wrap up the season. 🥂
