Veteran’s Day Program 2025

We appreciate our residents and staff honoring our Veterans today. Roger Stevens, Honor Guard with the Robert Jack VFW Troop 1322 began with the opening prayer. Makayla Martinez led the “Pledge of Allegiance”. A poem, “Grandpa Tell me about the War” was read by Carolyn Nichols. Honor Guards, Art Pruitt, Johnny Gothard, and Roger Stevens demonstrated “The Meaning of the Thirteen Flag Folds”.
Johnny Gothard presented each Veteran a “Certificate of Appreciation” for their service. We sang “America”, “The Star Spangled Banner” and ended with “This Land is Your Land”.
God Bless America!

Monday afternoon, we were entertained by the “Back Porch Country Band”. These ladies and gentlemen played the bass guitar, electric guitars, mandolin, snare drum, saxophone, harmonica, and piano in addition to their awesome vocals! We appreciate them sharing their talents with us! We are looking forward to next month when they sing our favorite Country Christmas songs!

Halloween Party 2025

Our residents had the best time at our party. We had a cupcake walk, chunking pumpkins game, punchboard and tootsie pop games. We appreciate Leann Battles with Access Home Health for providing the popcorn balls and assisting with the games, also Trey Smith, Zoie Sales, and Ms. Brittney Page from Area Agency on Aging of Western Arkansas for their help.

We appreciate the staff members who participated in Halloween festivities by dressing up in costume. Makayla Martinez, dressed as Dorothy, secured first place. Yesterday, we hosted a delightful Halloween party for our residents. The first place winner was Ms. Harlene Jackson, who dressed up as a patient. The second place winner was Ms. Jane Gentry, who came dressed as a cat. The third place winner was Mrs. Claudette House. Congratulations to all of our winners and thank you to Leann from Access Home Health for judging the contest.
