Seasons of the Soul: #3 — Pulling the Weeds 🌿
Every gardener knows that planting is only half the battle. If we want our new habits and inner peace to thrive, we eventually have to deal with the w**ds.
In our mental and emotional lives, "w**ds" are those pesky, recurring thoughts or behaviors that try to choke out our growth. They often look like:
🌿Limiting Beliefs: "I'm not good enough" or "Things will never change."
🌿Old Patterns: Reacting in anger when we’re actually feeling hurt.
🌿External Noise: Letting the opinions of others dictate our self-worth.
Pulling w**ds can be uncomfortable. It requires us to look closely at the roots of our stress and decide what no longer belongs in our "garden." But there is so much freedom in the clearing!
