Good Monday morning. It is going to be a hot one today. Stop on by. We have the A/C on. For lunch, we will be serving your choice of Stuffed Shells or Alfredo & Pasta with Chicken. Of course all the sides, beverage, and dessert for just $7 for 60 and over. The young un’s under 60 $10. Be sure to get your ticket to enter our drawing we are giving $25 a week this month thanks to Van Buren Station Nutrition

Exercises this week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Light workouts at 10 am.

Happy Friday. The staff is busy working on todays lunch. Fried Fish of course. They are also fixing Tuna Salad. I was able to talk them into stopping for a group photo. Come say HI to them today. They work hard.

Happy Monday. Things are a little quieter this week. WHEW!!! Last week was a busy one.

Unfortunately, for now, Our nail clinic is off due to scheduling with the nurse. If anybody knows of a nurse who would be interested in doing the nail clinic once a month, please let them and us know. The nurse gets all the proceeds. We just offer the space as a service for our clients.

We have our exercises every monday, wednesday, & friday at 10. Come join in some light workouts. Get some great stretches in and stay healthy.

Saturday is our monthly Food Bank distribution. It starts at 8 until 10 or when we run out.

Congratulations to all the entries to the Bass Tournament. Our big winner was Eric Kramer. He won first place, big bass, and side pocket. Thank you to everybody who came and entered.

We had an awesome turnout for the Second Sunday lunch. We had them waiting out the door. We served as fast as we could. Thank you everybody for coming and your patience.

It’s going to be a busy week here at the Nutrition Center.
Lunch today is your choice of Glazed Ham or Turkey Sub. Served with sweet potatoes, veggie blend, roll and pineapple.

Exciting new for this months drawing. Our sponsor for August is the Van Buren Nutrition Station owner Sharon Keown. She donated $25 a week prize. Yes. CASH!!! We are drawing one winner a week and they will get $25.

This weekend is the Bass Tournament. Be sure to come and see who is the King of the River Saturday.

We have quite a few items up for bid at our silent auction. Some are inexpensive. Some are not. We have a Miche handbag with extra handles and 7 different covers. It is worth hundreds of dollars. Here is your chance to own a high dollar handbag. Also, we have a Dale Earnhardt jacket. Size XL. Looking for a Royal Satsuma vase and pitchers? We have that as well Lots more items.
Come check them out and bid. All funds help benifit the Carter County Senior Nutrition Center.

Also. Tuesday is Senior Box Day. From 1-2 pm

Last but not least. Sunday is our Second Sunday meal. Chicken and toat beef is on the menu. $10 person.

If you have items you would like to donate whether it is monetary or new items for our silent auction for the Nutrition center in Van Buren. It starts Monday and will run through till Friday at 1 pm. This is for our 24th annual “King of the River” Bass Tournament on Saturday August 9th. 7am until 5 pm. Come to the silent auction and then on Saturday at 5 pm come and see who becomes this years King of the River!
