Hidden Treasure Benefit Concert with Elisa & Friends: join us for an evening of Music, Meditation & Poetry on Thursday December 4th at 7pm at FUSIT in Ithaca, NY.

We invite you to enter a space of peace, inspiration and joy as we celebrate the 27th Anniversary of the Hidden Treasure Program. A reception will follow the event. All are welcome!

Concert participants include: Elisa S. Keeler, Tracy Robertson, Aria Dawn, Rusty Keeler, Ezra Baptist, Rob Sullivan, Valerie Akers, Ahrayna Zakos and members of the Freeing Your Voice class.

Funds will support the Hidden Treasure Program scholarship program.
Hidden Treasure is a three-year course in personal and spiritual growth that was established in 1998 by Alice McDowell at Light on the Hill Retreat Center. The teachings have directly enriched hundreds of lives, creating a greater sense of connection, wholeness, fulfillment and joy. We're honored to continue this offering in our community and beyond.

Elisa has three albums of music available on all streaming platforms. Many of her lyrics are inspired by the teachings of Hidden Treasure at Light on the Hill Retreat Center. Elisa has taken singing workshops with Bobby McFerrin, Ysaye Barnwell of Sweet Honey in the Rock, and some of NYC's top contemporary music singing coaches. She combines some of their approaches along with her music education and healing training to form her celebrated Freeing Your Voice classes and workshops.

About the lead facilitator:
Elisa S. Keeler, MA Transpersonal Psychology & BM Vocal Performance & Music Education

Elisa is the founder of Freeing Your Voice and the Music for Unity and Social Change Program, and co-teacher of the Hidden Treasure Program, a course in healing and personal growth that takes place at Light on the Hill Retreat Center.

Aria Dawn, Elisa S. Keeler and friends will feature songs from Aria’s new album at a concert to benefit the Hidden Treasure Scholarship Fund on December 10th 7pm at the First Unitarian Society of Ithaca. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated; all contributions are tax deductible.

In 2019, Aria Dawn entered the Hidden Treasure Program as a scholarship recipient. She shares how the program and her classmates supported the fulfillment of her long-standing dream to record an album of her original songs:

“The Hidden Treasure Program helps clear away the clouds that hover over one’s bright, inner jewel. This program interested me initially because I was at a difficult point in my life and needed help with direction. There would have been no way for me to attend the program without the help of a scholarship. At the time I was a single parent with very little financial wiggle room. I am a writer and a musician and this program led me down the path to recording my first album, Calling Me Home.

Calling Me Home is a major project I started in the final year of attending the Hidden Treasure Program. A huge part of this program is how close we get to our classmates. When it was time for us to pick a final project in our third year, I had many ideas for directions I could take. Every person in my class said I needed to go towards recording music, without a doubt. Over the course of several years, they’d gotten to know me well enough to see that music is what lights me up the most!

I’d recorded three songs by the Spring of 2022, when I graduated from the Hidden Treasure Program. Getting started with recording was the most difficult part because there was a big learning curve for me. The songs that I write are about my own journey of finding grace and beauty inside the inevitable hardships of life and choosing empowerment in face of difficulty. I released my album in October of this year, 2024, and several friends from my Hidden Treasure Program cohort sat in the front at my album release party, cheering me on. I truly believe that this program helped me accomplish this dream and I can’t speak highly enough of it. Hello Friends! Join me for a free information session for the Hidden Treasure Program on August 15th (in Ithaca) or August 20th (online).

I went through the program 20 years ago and it was truly transformative on both personal and professional levels. Essentially it's about clearing the way for more love and fulfillment in life. Yes - it's possible!

The program meets five weekends per year for a duration of three years. Retreats take place at Light on the Hill Retreat Center in Van Etten NY.
