As we step into a new year, we pause with full hearts to reflect on a year shaped by resilience, compassion, and community.

Throughout the year, Safe Passage Heals remained committed to walking alongside women and children as they move from survival to stability and from silence to strength. Trauma informed, survivor centered services supported women and families rebuilding after abuse through healing workshops, empowerment series, and advocacy rooted in dignity and care.

One of the most meaningful accomplishments of the year was the launch of Silent Whispers, Vol. 1, a powerful anthology amplifying survivor voices through storytelling. Created through a mission aligned partnership with Rosslyn Castro, Founder and CEO of The Inspired Journal, this collaboration transformed lived experiences into healing, advocacy, and hope.

This year also called us to respond swiftly and compassionately to urgent needs including emergency wildfire outreach, families fleeing unsafe environments, and mothers and children experiencing homelessness. Through donor generosity and community partnership, families were moved from cars into safe shelter and provided essential resources during life’s most vulnerable moments.

We also witnessed healing come full circle as survivors stepped into leadership, transitioning into internships, employment, and staff roles with renewed confidence and purpose.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our donors, grant partners, and community champions, including but not limited to the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, The Foxwynd Foundation, Extraordinary Heroes, the Jessica Simpson Collection, Rosslyn Castro and The Inspired Journal, Meredith Yinger and SheTV, CBS and CBS Radford Studios, KCAL, Robbie Grasseschi, Jeanette Bradley, and Juan Carlos of Univision.
