✨Help us welcome Mendy Stetler to our team as Assistant ADC Coordinator in Van Wert! Mendy switched careers after 26 years at a factory, running a print press. Her daughter is Sarah, a Registered Nurse for CHP! 🩺 Mendy is excited to jump into the ADC program.

She enjoys spending time with her family, baking and keeping up with her 2 children and 2 dogs. 🐶 🐶

She’s looking forward to bringing lots of humor, good conversation, and positive energy to our clients, which we see already!

Her favorite quote? “Don’t call me late for supper!!” 😄

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Emily White, our Adult Day Center Coordinator in Van Wert!

Emily brings 12 years of experience in health care, including her time as an STNA at Van Wert Manor and as a direct support professional for disabled adults. Her heart for helping others shows in everything she does.

Outside of work: Emily enjoys golfing (a talent she’s had since age 3!), crafting, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her dog, Henry. Favorite quote: “Try to make any situation a positive one.”

As the new ADC Coordinator: “ I want to show our clients that interaction, fun, and a few laughs can change your life.” 😊

🦌 OPEN SEASON has officially begun, and our clients at the Van Wert Adult Day Center are having a blast joining in on the fun!!! 🍂

Our Adult Day Center is a perfect option for those who aren’t quite ready for long-term care, but would benefit from socialization, meaningful activities, and a safe, supportive environment. It also provides much-needed respite for caregivers who give so much every day.

💛We're thankful for a generous donation from Pioneer American Legion Post 307 for its generous donation to the Fawn Burley CHP Hospice Patient Care Fund. Legion Commander, Kyle McKelvey presented a check to CHP President/CEO, Brent Tow. Our patient care fund helps pay for expenses when there are coverage deficiencies. As a nonprofit agency, we depend on donations and fundraising events to provide for these needs. Thank you! 🧡

On GivingTuesday, The Van Wert County Foundation will again match contributions to the Fawn Burley CHP Hospice Patient Care Fund - up to $10,000. Your donation - no matter the amount - is doubled!! In order for your donation to be matched, it must be given through the VWCF. Here's how:

🦃 Today our Van Wert Adult Day Center clients celebrated a Thanksgiving carry-in and enjoyed wonderful music from our very own Kim Mason! 🍂🎶

Our Adult Day Center is the perfect option for those who aren’t quite ready for long-term care but still enjoy socialization, activities, and a safe, engaging environment. It also offers personal care, medication management, much-needed respite and peace of mind for caregivers. 💛
