🌟 Staff Spotlight & Birthday Celebration! 🎉🎂

Today we are excited to shine the spotlight on one of our amazing Registered Nurses, Dave Foust and wish him a very Happy Birthday! We truly appreciate all that he does for Fountain Park Home Care / Vancrest, and we are grateful to have had him as part of our team for just over two years.

Outside of work, he is a proud family man. He and his wife, Sarah, stay busy raising their two little girls, Maggie and Alex—one learning to read and the other learning to talk! Their days are filled with playing, reading books, making art, and going on plenty of family adventures.

With 12+ years of nursing experience, what he enjoys most about being a home health nurse is the social connection he builds with his patients. Listening to their life stories, learning about their families and hobbies, and helping them identify their personal goals is what drives him every day. His mission is to help each patient regain their sense of independence, knowing that looks different for everyone.

He strives to bring a fun, light-hearted, and welcoming atmosphere to each visit, allowing patients to feel comfortable, open up, and get the most out of their care.

“I feel blessed every day that this is my job and that I get to help people in the comfort of their own homes.”

We had the pleasure of joining the Van Wert Council On Aging Van Wert to help prepare Christmas baskets for 170 seniors in our community. These baskets will be delivered as a special Christmas gift to brighten their holiday season.

It was a wonderful morning filled with laughter, warmth, and fellowship. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and to support the seniors who mean so much to our community. 🎄🎄🎄

✨🎄 ✨Yesterday we celebrated our annual staff Christmas party, and it was such a wonderful afternoon! We enjoyed delicious food, great fellowship, and lots of laughter. One of the highlights was our paint-and-sip (with hot chocolate!) session — everyone’s creativity really shined!

We wanted to share a heartwarming story with you. 💙

This is Roy Jeknavorian — a current patient of ours and the husband of Linda, whom we were honored to care for over the past 8 years. We had the privilege of being Linda’s primary nurse during that time. Linda passed away a couple of weeks ago, and in a beautiful and generous gesture, Roy chose to have memorial contributions made to our agency in appreciation for the care she received.

We are deeply touched by his kindness and by the love he continues to show for Linda. Our thoughts remain with Roy and his family during this time. 💙✨

What a fun and meaningful day gathering items to help the Van Wert Council on Aging with their Senior Snowflake Program! 🌟 This wonderful program supports seniors in our community, and there’s still time to make a difference — donations are being accepted until December 5th.
