🎡 The residents of Van Wert Manor had such a wonderful time at the fair! It was the perfect day for a parade, with a special thank-you to the Van Wert Police for providing a safe es**rt. 💜

Everyone enjoyed catching up with old friends, visiting the Welch rabbits, and spending time with Katie, one of our nurses, who even brought her horses to visit. 🐴 Residents had the chance to ride, and there were plenty of laughs when the mechanical bull was conquered on a dare (the screams could be heard across the fairgrounds! 🤣).

From tasty fair food to sunshine, fun, and plenty of smiles, it was a day to remember. A big thank-you to all the volunteers who helped make it possible—and our residents looked amazing in their purple Van Wert Manor t-shirts! 💜✨

📚✏️ We’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our School Supply Drive! Together, we collected over 260 items and raised $240 to purchase even more supplies. 🎉

Because of your generosity, we were able to provide school supplies for 26 children of our employees AND donate two big boxes to Van Wert and Lincolnview schools. 💜

🎉 Happy 102nd Birthday, Glendene! 🎉
Glendene celebrated her special day surrounded by love and joy! She received birthday cards from across the United States, was serenaded by her Assisted Living family, and enjoyed a delicious ice cream cake. Throughout the day, she was visited by many family members, friends, and even three of her former students from the class of 1964—who still call her their favorite teacher!

Glendene truly had a wonderful 102nd birthday. She is a wealth of knowledge, an inspiration to all who know her, and such a pleasure to be around. 💜

🎶 A Special Performance at Van Wert Manor! 🎶

The Wayne Trace Band visited on this beautiful sunny day, filling the air with music and memories. Our residents truly enjoyed the performance and loved reminiscing about their own school band days.

We’re especially proud that many of the band members are also part of the softball team, coached by our very own social worker, Amber! She couldn’t have been prouder of their amazing performance. 💜👏
