Provider POV ✨

Today was busy—but hands down one of the most fulfilling days of the year so far. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I truly love what I do. Being able to meet people where they are, walk alongside them, and help them become the best version of themselves is such a privilege.

Today was filled with great reports, patients doing well, and real breakthroughs in things they’ve been hoping and working toward. This is why we do it. The late nights, the long weeks—it’s all worth it when you get to see progress and hope come to life.

That light at the end of the tunnel makes even the busiest days the best ones. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Wednesday! 💙

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was spent cheering on the Vancleave Bulldog wrestling team as they competed in duals at St. Martin 🐾🤼‍♂️. We also enjoyed spending our afternoons working on our house and painting as we get closer to moving in over the next few months.

As we wrap up another year, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our patients. Your trust means everything, and it has been an honor caring for you and welcoming so many new faces this year. 💙❤️

I’m truly grateful for the continued growth of our clinic and the opportunity to serve our community each day.

Provider point of view:
I just want to be transparent as to why I love my job so much. As I meet every patient I meet them where they are. I don’t know what life has been like for them but they chose to come to my office. This is a step to get healthier, To better their mental health, To just find out if they have any health issues at all, to get better understanding of something. I enjoy discussing and digging in to figure out whatever the situation and really learning about the patient. I include the patients input into what direction to take, and value their research and knowledge. I empathize and try to understand why someone’s hesitant to medications or certain types of treatment. It’s my place to educate not berate someone. My favorite part is the follow up to see if the blood pressure medication has finally worked and their blood pressure is better, finding what helps someone feel like themselves and their mental health is improved. Discuss hard situations with gentleness and pray for that patient knowing my God is bigger. Celebrating the small steps if someone has chosen to reduce their smoking or alcohol and they’ve maintained that choice. Everything is important and I enjoy celebrating, encouraging, educating, and treating people at every point in their life.

This is why I love what I do and enjoy getting to truly know my patients.

Good afternoon happy Cruisin Week. We will be closing the office October 8-10th as this is also fall break for most schools. I will be taking time with my kids this week. We will be back in office October 13. Look forward to seeing everyone then!!
