Since beginning my weekend rides on September 12, 2025, I’ve logged 409.7 miles. Friday was the Klickitat Loop, and today was the BACA Rug Rat Poker Run. The weather may prevent riding tomorrow. After today’s ride, I noticed Gunny is nearly due for her 5K service at 4,966 miles, so I'll call Paradise Harley Davidson for an appointment this week.

Growing up, I always knew I wanted a Harley. Ten years ago, I finally bought my first Harley. In the last ten years, I’ve bought three more. I’m starting to think I might have a Harley addiction. When I was younger, I experienced hardship at home. What stayed with me all this time was that there were adults willing to show children who had been abused that they were loved and cared for. This year, I decided it was time to bring two of my passions together.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any riding in this weekend due to my family obligations, and that's okay. Saturday, we went up to my in-laws after grabbing some items for them from Costco and what I hear to be the best corn from a farm in Woodland. Sunday started with breakfast at my mom's, followed by a trip to the theater. We saw & Juliet, it was better than I thought it would be. This was a great weekend since I got to see both sides of my family.

Gunny did her first bank job today! Thanks to today being Ride to Work Day 2025. No, I do not work at IQ, I do bank there so as the business owner of Back in Line Health Care, not only am I responsible for helping people stay healthy, live well, and play hard, but I do have to do the admin portion as well.

This weekend's ride was to Paradise Harley-Davidson, where a buddy of mine needed to pick up a gasket, and I wanted to figure out why my yearly mileage wasn't being recorded, even though my mileage for the "hero" ride was being tracked. The ride was thrown together last night, so I wasn't sure if it was just a rid to the dealership or more. When I arrived at my buddy's place, I found out it would be the later one than because there were three bikes and four people waiting for me. The ride to Paradise was 24 miles, and the return trip home was 96 miles, which included a ferry ride.

Yesterday, Teresa, Mom, and I decided to hop on the trike and ride up to Ilani for a late lunch or early dinner. Eager to get there, we jumped on the freeway and made our way quickly. After enjoying a good meal and losing a few bucks at the casino, we headed home via the back roads. Mom finally got to see firsthand how far we would ride for a meal on the bike and why we enjoy doing it.

A few of us decided to sneak out for a short lunch ride today, not knowing where we were headed. Shane and I met up with Uncle Paul at his place, and that gave us a 40-mile ride before we even chose a lunch spot. We agreed to keep riding until we figured out where to eat. Ultimately, we decided to ride along Molalla River Road and chose to have lunch at Colton Cafe, where we enjoyed a fantastic meal.

Last weekend, after deciding to join in BACA's 100-mile ride, I ran into the BACA member who had spoken to me about the organization back in November. On Sunday, while I was at Paradise HD, I encountered her again. During our conversation, she asked if I could provide some advice on self-care options for managing the shoulder blade pain that is common among trike riders

Teresa, the boys, and I finally took our first ride on the trikes since getting Gunny. She led a short 92-mile trip to the Cougar Bar and Grill for lunch. The main goal of this ride was to get Gunny to her 500-mile break-in point

Of course, we made a stop for ice cream cones from Dairy Queen in honor of a few friends who couldn’t join us on this ride.

This weekend, Dr. Aaron rode to the Stonehenge Memorial and then continued on to Goldendale, WA. The round trip totaled 227 miles on Gunny.
