For decades, the practice of therapy was stable and predictable. You went to graduate school, got licensed, grew your caseload, and earned a stable income.
That stability is now unraveling. Jobs that once seemed like safe bets at mental health companies are subject to mass layoffs and shifting pay structures.
Solo practitioners are also feeling the impact.
