RUOK? A Friendly Call That Makes a Big Difference

Do you—or someone you care about—live alone and could use a regular check-in? CDM Caregiving Services offers the RUOK Program, a free wellness call that brings peace of mind, connection, and care to older adults and individuals with disabilities.

It’s simple: a trained volunteer calls at a scheduled time to ask, “Are you OK?” If there’s no answer or a concern is raised, CDM staff follow up to ensure safety.

🌟 We Did It—Over 5,000 Dementia Friends Strong in Washington! 🌟

What began as a ripple has become a wave of awareness, compassion, and action. We’re thrilled to share that more than 5,000 individuals across Washington State have now completed a Dementia Friends Awareness Session—each one taking a step toward building a more dementia-friendly community.

From church basements to virtual classrooms, tribal centers to senior living communities, these sessions have sparked meaningful conversations and empowered people to see beyond the diagnosis. Every new Dementia Friend is a light in someone’s journey.
