Facilitators Pam Stover and Alan Masden are ready to welcome care partners and people living with dementia into a space of understanding, encouragement, and connection.

Our Monthly Community Education Night is held on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30–8:00 PM, and you’re invited.

Each session features dementia specialists who share practical tools, guidance, and support for families, caregivers, and anyone wanting to better understand cognitive change. Whether you’re seeking resources or simply want to learn, these evenings offer a welcoming space to connect and grow together.

A Dementia‑Friendly Community Screening at the The Kiggins Theatre
Follow the yellow brick road to a special showing of The Wizard of Oz at the historic Kiggins Theatre. This Meet Me at the Movies event is designed to be welcoming and comfortable for people living with dementia (PLWD), care partners, and anyone in the community who would like to attend.

Released in 1939, The Wizard of Oz is a timeless classic that follows young Dorothy Gale as she’s swept from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz. Joined by the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, she journeys down the Yellow Brick Road in search of the Wizard who can help her find her way home. It’s a story filled with music, imagination, friendship, and courage—perfect for a joyful community experience.

Meet Me at the Museum Returns Quarterly Beginning February 18!
Our dementia‑friendly museum mornings are back. People living with dementia and their care partners are invited to join us for a welcoming, low‑stress visit that blends history, creativity, and connection.
February’s gathering will feature:
A first look at the museum’s new visitor center
A fun, interactive activity based on “Vancouver‑opoly,” celebrating local places and history
Gentle conversation, supportive staff, and time to explore the exhibits at your own pace
A comfortable environment designed specifically for PLWD and their care partners.
