When a family member is struggling with their mental health, we can sometimes feel powerless to help. We do our best to either avoid making it worse, or, we ourselves can become overwhelmed by it or absorbed into it. The trauma’s we’ve experienced - whether large or small - shape the way we think, interact, believe and engage with life.
