💡 The idea of what was going to end up as Med Rx Partners began in 2016 but didn’t come to fruition until 2019. I (Hi, Piper here 👋🏻) had always dreamt of dramatically increasing access to care and my first vision was to either build out or buy a building to help PMHNPs rent space and learn how to run a private practice. This consultation model was quickly derailed when I found out I was pregnant with triplets.🤣I had the babies in July 2017 and opened up a different clinic, TMS NW, with Julia Swofford and Brendan Roe. I had considered selling my private practice but things did not come together so in the spring of 2019 I knew it was time to grow yet again. It was during an owners meeting in TMS NW when I expressed the let down of things not coming together so Julia suggested we join again to start a medication management clinic. 👏🏻
🏃♀️ With her green light I took off running and within days contacted our landlord to discuss expansion. The office next to my private practice had been empty for over a year after consolidated (I sure missed them!). Dallas Aho was up for the challenge and planning started immediately!
