Orchards Highlands Enhanced Services Facility (OHESF) is looking for caregivers to assist residents to continue living independent lifestyles and thrive in this community setting. We specialize in providing medical, behavioral, and housing support for people living with complex behavioral health challenges. Our staff empower these residents to overcome life-long adversities and honor their choices, goals, and preferences for how they choose to live and interact with their community.
The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly, as well as capable of demonstrating effective communication skills. Staff must be self-motivated when completing various tasks, but also willing to follow instructions when needed. Staff assist residents with a variety of tasks while encouraging independence as much as possible. We require staff to be professional, dependable, and thrive in the teamwork atmosphere we strive for.
PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE. Flexible scheduling available.
The following certifications/licensures will be coordinated at time of employment: HCA or CNA certification,_ CPR/First Aid_, and Specialty Trainings: Dementia, Mental Health, De-Escalation. *OHESF will pay for any employee's necessary training, as a condition of initial employment.
Additional requirements prior to hire: TB Test (coordinated prior to start date) and Valid Washington State Food Handlers card.
