We’re teaming up again with the amazing Mtn Peaks Therapy Llamas & Alpacas for three unforgettable Autism Serves - Helping Hands events this summer! 🧤💫

Come join us for fun, connection, and community service as we support our furry therapy friends in Ridgefield, WA! Perfect for autistic and neurodivergent youth, adults, families, and allies who love animals and want to give back in a joyful setting. 🌈✨

📍 Location:
33005 NW 31st Ave, Ridgefield, WA 98642

📅 Dates:
• Saturday, June 28
• Saturday, July 26
• Saturday, August 16

🕙 Time:
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (sign up for one, two, or all three sessions)

What we will be doing:
🌱We are working with Mtn. Peaks Therapy Llamas and Alpacas Farm to help build/mend fences, creating trails and supporting this wonderful animal therapy space. Please sign up for one or all of the dates to work outside, get dirty, and meet some amazing llamas and alpacas.

By embracing neurodiversity and fostering inclusive environments, Public Health promotes a system of care where children and youth with special health care needs and their families receive the support they need to thrive.

Our Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs program supports families who have children birth to 18 years old with complex health needs, like autism, by ensuring equitable access to high-quality services. This includes providing guidance to community resources available to address and support their unique nutritional, developmental, and behavioral needs.

👟Lace up 👟 and come run (or walk or snack, or cheer) with us at our first race in partnership with and there will be a Tot Trot hosted by us at and lots of fun activities for all. Adults can do a 5K and everyone gets a medal! Not in the area? Run with us virtually! Create a team and raise money for Seedling! Speech therapy can be so much FUN! Let’s try something new this weekend.

Let’s go on a SOUND SAFARI! 🦁🦓🦒🐊 🦛🦋🐘

Try taking your little one out into nature. This could be on a walk,in your back yard or a park. See if you can spot different types of animals with your kiddo.Once you’ve picked an animal practice the sound that that particular animal makes with your little one.

Repetition is key in this game,working like this will help your child build and strengthen neural connections in their brain.

Give it a try and comment below how it went and what you guys spotted on your safari! And take LOTS of pictures! And make sure to tag so we can see 🤩

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR (in my opinion)
Here’s 5 amazing pumpkin patches around the area and why we love them!
🎃 LOCATION• BiZi Farms • right here in Vancouver BiZi is a family farm with some great activities! A $16.95 entry ticket for ages 3+ is an all inclusive experience with a wagon ride, pumpkin, hot chocolate or apple cider, corn maze, kids activities, and two shots on their pumpkin cannon (yes you read that last one right).
🎃 NATURE •Topaz Farms• Head over a few bridges and you’ll be on Sauvie’s Island where the amazing Topaz Farms is located. Free on weekdays and $12 for 2+ on weekends you’ll be able to explore this huge 130 acre no-spray farm. They have great lawn games, tractor trikes, and a hidden tire swing among other activities.
🎃 ALL DAY ADVENTURE •Bauman’s Farm• it may be a bit of a drive down to Woodburn but this farm has everything you could imagine. A $30 admission ticket might sound high, but with the amount of activities you’ll be busy with, you’ll spend all day on the farm. Petting zoo, bug train, kids zone, dark corn maze (what!), hay pyramid and slide, jumping pillows, nut house, hay ride, cider pressing and samples, ropes course! Phew! I’m tired even thinking of everything to do! And not to mention, they have amazing hard cider (cheers!)
🎃FAMOUS•Roloff Farms• Any TLC fans? This farm is own by the Little People Big World family and has some amazing attractions (and yummy apple cider donuts). $20 per person gets you some fun lawn games, pumpkin train, tower and slide play area, and story time from Matt Roloff himself! rolofffarms
🎃FREE •The Patch in Woodland• Go explore a farm and pumpkin patch without an admission fee! Pay if you want to bring a pumpkin home, or participate in other fun activities they have to offer, but you can get the farm experience at no cost!

Calling all moms!!!

Next month I will be a vendor at this amazing event hosted by Seedling Psychological at June bug Play space in Ridgefield. This is a fun event for moms to come meet other moms, eat some yummy food and get free stuff for pregnancy and postpartum needs.
