Our craft class got a fun (and stylish!) twist this week as we started getting ready for two special events coming up! 🎀👒

Residents spent the afternoon designing and decorating their very own hats—perfect for our upcoming Kentucky Derby celebration and Mother’s Day Tea.

We can’t wait to see everyone show them off at the Derby and Tea… it’s going to be a beautiful (and fashionable!) time at Bridgewood!

We turned Bridgewood into a little slice of the islands today! 🌺🌴

Our Luau Lunch was full of flavor, fun, and plenty of smiles as we welcomed the amazing Paradise of Samoa Polynesian Dance Troupe. Residents enjoyed a great lunch and watched the dancers perform right in front of us—the music got everyone’s attention and those costumes were something else!

Mahalo to the dancers for bringing such joy and energy to our community today!

We also want to recognize Neveah, one of our amazing receptionists! She keeps things moving at the front desk and is always ready to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.

Neveah brings such a positive energy to Bridgewood, and we truly appreciate all the care and support she gives to both our residents and staff. Thank you for everything you do!

We made the most of the nice weather and got outside to “play” on our putting green! ☀️⛳ Lots of smiles, a little friendly competition, and just a good time enjoying the sunshine together. Safe to say it was a hit!

Lunch out, Bridgewood style! 🍽️ Today we headed to Outback Steakhouse for a fun afternoon filled with good food and even better company. From sizzling steaks to blooming onions, our residents enjoyed every bite—and of course, plenty of laughs around the table.

Big thanks to our amazing driver Landon for getting us there and back on the Bridgewood Bus!

Mother Nature had other plans for us this Earth Day, so we brought the celebration indoors—and made the most of it! 🌎💚

Our residents got creative painting birdhouses (a big thank you to Kilie and Daisy from Shalom Hospice for providing them!), adding their own personal touch to each one. We also painted colorful rocks for our future courtyard rock garden—stay tuned for that! And to top it all off, we made bird seed suet cakes so our feathered friends will have a little Earth Day treat too.

We also want to give a big shoutout to Bobbie, our wonderful receptionist! She’s the first friendly face you see when you walk through our doors and the warm voice on the phone that keeps everyone connected.

Bobbie helps keep the front running smoothly and always greets everyone with a smile. We’re so lucky to have her here at Bridgewood—thank you for all you do for our residents and staff!

Well… sometimes even the best plans need a quick pivot!

Our trip to ilani Casino Resort didn’t quite go as expected when we arrived to find a large portion of the casino closed for new carpeting. But if there’s one thing our Bridgewood crew knows how to do, it’s make the most of any situation!

With a little teamwork (and thanks to our amazing driver Landon), we quickly switched gears and headed to McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge for a delicious Plan B lunch instead. Great food, beautiful views, and even better company made it a day to remember.

Just goes to show—no matter where we go, the fun follows us!

Our Beanbag Baseball teams, The Pandas and The Grizzlys, have been bringing the energy, teamwork, and plenty of friendly rivalry to every game. From Home Runs to close calls, these teams have been keeping everyone on the edge of their seats—and having a whole lot of fun along the way!

But the excitement doesn’t stop here…
